TRWD Headquarters Rain Garden
With native wetland plants and an in-ground wetland filter, this rain garden caps the end of the "Water Sense" garden at the Tarrant Regional Water District Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. Collecting runoff from the adjacent building and parking lot, the design serves as the final step of filtration before reaching the Trinity River. As a freelance designer, I created a package including a planting, grading, and maintenance plan to ensure the project's long-term health.
